The GMC Canyon 2010 edition appears to be a very good looking light duty pick up with lots of promises. However on road or track it does not fulfill the expectations in terms of passenger comfort and sophistication; here’s a brief GMC Canyon 2010 review.

Inside the Truck

The GMC Canyon 2010 is a compacted truck equipped with two or three wheel drive in three body variants i.e. Regular Cab, Extended Cab and Crew Cab. The Crew Cabs have a 5 foot large Cargo box whereas the other Canyons boast of a 6 feet bed. The Canyons are available in three primary trim levels with slightly different equipments based on the body variant.

GMC Canyon 2010 Specs

The GMC Canyon 2010 has a standard 2.9 liter engine with four cylinders which is capable of producing 185 hp and 190 pound- feet of torque. There is also an option for 3.7 liter inline engine with 5 cylinders which can produce 242 hp and 242 pound – feet of torque.

The Extended Cab and Crew Cab models are available only with 5.3 liter V 8 engine which produces 300 hp and 320 pound – feet of torque. The Work truck and SLE models are available with 2.9 liter engine but can be equipped with 3.7 liter engine on demand. The SLT models come with standard 3.7 liter engine whereas SLE and SLT trims can be obtained with V8 engine.
