Trims
The pickup truck, GMC Canyon shares its basic design with Chevy Colorado. For 2010, it is offered in three trim versions, the base model regular cab, extended cab and top-level Crew cab. The basic design and overall style of all the trim versions remain same, but the cargo bed length and few features may vary. It is offered in either rear wheel drive or in four wheel drive.
Engine
The engine options remain same for 2010. The standard engine include 2.9 liter DOHC I-4 version that delivers 185 hp of 5600 rpm and torque of 190 lb ft at 2800 rpm. The other engines available include a 3.7 liter DOHC I-5 and OHV V8 versions. These engines can be mated to either 5-speed manual or to 4-speed automatic transmission.
